Self-Pick-up

Order will be processed within 2 working days from receipt. Customers can schedule the date and period to pick up the goods by replying to the order confirmation email. (Self-pick-up is available from 2 working days after the order confirmation.)

*To ensure the freshness, we polish the rice 1-5 days before delivery. If customers fail to pick up the rice in the absence of prior reservation, in no event we shall take the responsibility.

Door-to-door delivery

Order will be processed within 2 working days from receipt. Customers can schedule the date of dispatch by replying to the order confirmation email. (Delivery is available from 2 working days after the order confirmation.)

Terms and Conditions
1. Delivery Arrangement
i. Each delivery means delivery to a single address only.
ii. We shall not be liable for any loss or damage of item left at the building management office or any location other than the delivery address stated in the delivery note as requested by customers.
iii. If we are unable to deliver the item ordered for whatever reason, we will notify customers as soon as possible and refund to customers the purchase price and/or Delivery Charge, without interest. In no event, we shall be liable for any increased cost, loss of profits or goodwill or any other special, incidental, direct or indirect or consequential damages due to any late delivery or non-delivery of the item.

2. Collection
i. There will be no refund of Delivery Charge and/or any Additional Charges due to an unattended delivery address upon arrival of item at the appointed time. In such case, we will require additional Delivery Charge HK$40 for any rescheduled delivery.
ii. Upon receipt of the item, customers or the recipient shall inspect and confirm the contents and conditions of the item and sign on the delivery note to acknowledge receipt. The title and risk of loss or damage to item shall pass to customers at that time. Customers shall report any discrepancy to us within 2 days from receipt.

3. Cancellation / Reschedule
i. Customers may change the delivery date at least 24 hours in advance for free.
ii. Delivery Service and assembly service (if applicable) will be suspended if typhoon signal No. 8 or above or the black rainstorm signal is issued. We will further contact customers to reschedule the delivery.

Returns

If return or exchange is due to product quality issue or discrepancy in the items ordered, customer shall report any discrepancy to us within 2 days from receipt for our follow-up.

Customer has to send back relevant photos and a valid receipt to request for return. Otherwise, we shall have the discretion to refuse your claim after delivery.

A confirmation notice will be received upon return application approval.

We will bear the shipping costs for returns. Please return the items (no need to be refrigerated delivery) with relevant tracking no. for our record. After we receive and inspect the returned items, you will receive an email notification once the refund completes.

Damaged packing Depends on the photographic evidence.
Quality problem

Return request due to quality problem will be accepted only for those reported within 2 days after receiving the goods.

We offer Japanese rice for which pesticides and chemical fertilizers use are controlled at a low level, which means that a certain extent of damaged grains is inevitable (For example, in Koshibuki, you can occasionally find black spots on the rice grains that look burnt, called Pecky rice). According to the rice grading standards set by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan, Rice containing 70% of normal grains + ≤15% of damaged grains already belongs to the first grade. Therefore, if it is a fairly minor problem, returns will not be accepted. Please send us relevant photos for more accurate judgment.

Others Defect caused by non-manufacturing faults, defect due to improper use or other external or environmental factor, returns are not acceptable. Please send us relevant photos for more accurate judgment.
Refunds Refunds are not accepted, please apply for returns via email.
